I grew up in St. Sebastian, Ohio, situated deep within an area commonly referred to as “God’s Country”. It’s the kind of place where people work hard and do not deviate from their values. It’s a place where you learn how to look someone in the eye know if they’re lying. I know the value of direct, honest communication and I have instilled that into our team. We know the value of drilling down to our client’s most raw truth and how to use that strategically to help them grow.
Many people throw around the word “strategy”, but it is at our core. Sometimes it’s as easy as fixing ‘broken windows’, sometimes it’s an intimate knowledge of your business, but we never just rush back to the office and grab drawing pencils.
Many people are so close to their products or services they don’t know where to start when it comes to talking about their business.
Growing companies and putting people back to work is the most important metric for everything we do. Our team collaborates with companies to understand what customers are looking for so they can tell their story in a compelling way that resonates.
I have worked with Fortune 500 companies, I know the Goliaths of the industry and nothing makes me happier than helping small and medium-sized businesses compete. The Achilles’ heel of being big is being slow. Our team partners with our clients to implement cleaner processes and faster technology to get their message to market quicker.
Some of my fondest memories are from camping as an Eagle Scout sitting on rough, wooden logs that encircled a crackling fire sharing stories with the other boys. I believe that it is a human need to be told stories. We crave stories in the same way we crave love. The work we do at Wilderness Agency is based on this primal need.
