Park-N-Go, serving the Dayton International Airport, is a valuable resource for travelers. Offering an easy, affordable parking solution to frequent- and occasional fliers, this service has been helping travelers get to their flights on time for years.

As with any valued service, Park-N-Go was able to expand its business. A new, premium area was added, that allowed a designated location for premium services like car washes, oil changes, detailing, auto repairs, and a highly-appreciated valet service to the airport.

Three challenges were brought to the creative team at Wilderness Agency:

  1. How to clearly iterate the paths at the Park-N-Go location to new customers.
  2. How to raise awareness of the new value-added services available to customers.
  3. How to reach those who have never considered the use of Park-N-Go’s offerings.

Traditional Advertising Still Has A Place

With new benefits and expanded offerings, Park-N-Go needed to spread the word. Updating and optimizing their Google listing was a first priority. Second, traditional advertising made sense on a local scale.

Strategically placed billboards in the Dayton region announced the new lots advantages and encouraged them to upgrade. Billboard advertising was strategically implemented across the Dayton region with a simple design. Research shows that a viewer will look at a billboard for an average of 4 seconds, requiring the message to be clear and concise.

Digital ads – with a similar, clear design in mind – were developed and deployed targeting those within a certain local radius. Additionally, a coupon campaign provided a cost-effective incentive for new business via direct mail and e-mail.

Make It Clear

Just like paths in a website, it is key to have clear pathways at a physical business. When customers arrive at Park-N-Go, they need clear instructions to understand every service available at that location.

Wayfinding practices, both internal and external, were designed with the customer in mind, getting them to their parking space and on their way to the airport as quickly as possible. Everything, including the website, was designed to make traveling to the airport a convenient and stress-free experience.

By managing the flow of information and the flow of people, Park-N-Go added value to their customer’s experience. Wilderness Agency helped them manage those flows through targeted messaging and anticipating the needs of a traveler.
